Major City Update
The official alley trash survey has arrived.
Every Dallas household that depends on alley trash pickup must complete this survey immediately so City Council can see our neighborhoods refuse to lose service.
What to look for in your mailbox
- Envelope from City of Dallas Sanitation Services with the city seal.
- A folded mailer titled Neighborhood Service Change Survey dated this week.
- A QR code plus a short URL leading to the official Dallas survey portal.
- Your sanitation day and alley/curb pick-up status pre-filled—confirm or correct it.
Complete every question, sign the response section, and return it as instructed or submit online using the code that is printed inside.
Can't find the survey?
- Double-check your household mail, especially utility bill bundles delivered this week.
- Ask immediate neighbors if theirs arrived—Dallas mailed them by sanitation district.
- Still missing it? Visit DallasSanitationSurvey.org and complete the form now. Mention you have alley trash.
The City has said it will weigh responses when deciding whether to end alley service. Every missing response can be counted as silence, so make sure your household is recorded.
